The daily output of an installation team of 4 men ranges between 60 – 200 qm per day, depending upon the conditions at the job site.

Using the ACSS Joint System allows a more rational and cost effective installation of the floor – in a one process step that allows the special joint to be installed at the same time. This eliminates the need for an extra stage in the construction process, where the expansion joint would normally be installed separately following the setting of the tiles.
The special construction of the ACSS Expansion Joint is immediately apparent.
The design of the joint profile will be appreciated due to the excellent keying system incorporated in the hard PVC shoulders of this unit. This ensures maximum security in the mortar bed.
The soft PVC bridges are welded between the shoulders of the strip and are compressible to accomodate slight expansion occurring in the tile system. The stability of the joints fully remains, even with the good flexibility.
The rail can be pulled from the clamp strip and can be cut to accomodate lower floor profiles.
These expansion joint sections are made out of a specially formulated plastic. Although in total this material is quite flexible, it has a high degree of resistance to abrasion, UV exposure, oil and a wide range of chemicals. Tile edges are protected from damage by heavy loaded wheel traffic due to the strength of the expansion joint shoulders. The strips provide ease of installation: Its placement between two rows of tiles, positioned flush with the tile face, ensures a neatly secured expansion joint. Once the position of the joint is determined, the first row of tiles is installed, and then tiles are installed at the opposite side.
