We are a great family connected by the common interest of serving well, and we are undoubtedly the most vertical company in its fi eld. We take pride on our fast and professional response, and in the way we excel in adapting our resources to the various demands from the several different countries we are present in.

VISION
Making people’s life easier, with improved comfort and economy through excellence in design.

1925: Established in Hamburg by Richard Weber, engaging in the activity of producing leather articles and “gutta-percha” film.
1938: Pioneer tests on the then recently developed material, known today as PVC.
1939:Acquisition of the fi rst calendar for the production of PVC sheeting, suitable for the confection of raincoats and table covers.
1948:History was made when installing the fi rst rotary printing machine for plastic sheeting. It was an ultimate step in a fi eld unknown at the time:
that of decorative plastics.
1958:Adreta decides to establish its activity abroad, and builds Adreta Plásticos in Portugal.
1965:The Hamburg factory is sold. As a result Adreta Plásticos is no longer a branch company, and becomes independent.
1965 - 2000:It has been 35 years of great development, of grand innovation, of considerable growth, of a great deal of research too, and above all, of unending fl exibility to adapt ourselves to the ever new demands coming in from the various markets all over the world.
2000 - 2004:We are going through a period of major renewal in the production process, moved by the most recent technological innovations in the fi eld.
Many of our machinery suppliers were not able to develop their articles to Adreta’s degree of excellence in performance, therefore our most recently installed machinery (including calanders, rotary printing, and embossing machines) has been designed and assembled using our own know-how, and our own ENGENEERING TEAM.
As an example, we refer that in 2004, we have put in production with an absolute rate of success, a brand new, fully electronic and unique in the world, 5-station rotary printing machine.
