1988 : The manufacturer of the Centra folder commercialises the first label-holder sealing machines AES 33, which were designed and produced within its machine construction department. The sturdiness and the reliability of the AES together with the well-known reputation of Centra contributed to the world-wide exportation of the sealing machines at an average rhythm of 10 AES per year.
1992 : Launching of the first automatic welding machine of A4 and triangular pockets: ITSM 40. In view of the growing demand for personnalized folders, the machine becomes an immediate success and is soon equipping the leading stationery manufaturers. 1995 : Centra merges with Leitz who decides to separate from the machine construction department, transferring it to the SOGRESS group, specialised in general mechanical engineering and based in Bitschwiller-les-Thann. 2002 : Following a decisive strategic turnaround in 1999, orientating 80% of CCM's activity towards the manufacture of special machines (in all fields), CCM files for bankrupty and is put into receivership. December 2002 : Motivated by a desire to continue the manufacture of the sealing machines AES and ITSM, and supported by their customers and agents, M. Schneider (mechanical engineer, chief of the design office at SOGRESS), and M. Scatton (electrotechnical and automation engineer, specialised in the after-sales division) decide to join forces to recreate the manufacturing activity of the Centra machines and to provide the follow-up and after sales service. 15 january
