In the year 1911, Albert Bieringer established the brush factory bearing his name in the Central Franconian town of Bechhofen near Ansbach.
His son, Hans Bieringer, took over management of the firm in 1935. The consistent manufacture of high-quality artist brushes made from selected materials became the decisive engine for the success of corporate development. Today, our high requirements for quality still form the basis of positive corporate development.
With Herbert and Roland Bieringer, the third generation entered the firm in 1960. In 1984, the company was converted into the limited liability company Albert Bieringer GmbH under the management of Herbert and Roland Bieringer. In 1986, the firm Albert Bieringer GmbH celebrated its 75th company anniversary.
Since the year 2002, the fourth generation has been active in the firm, embodied by Roman Bieringer, bachelor of business administration (BA). Among other tasks, he is responsible for Marketing and Sales, and is opening up new markets and distribution channels. Furthermore, he manages the field staff and provides consultation to retailers regarding product selection and presentation of the extensive lineo line.
As of early 2006, company management has been headed by the two managing directors, Herbert and Roman Bieringer. Roland Bieringer has been supporting the company as a consultant since that time.
Albert Bieringer GmbH is a successful, medium-sized enterprise. In 2006, we employed a total of 20 people in production, shipping and administration.
The firm Albert Bieringer GmbH is a tradition-conscious and innovative company. Our innovative potential is evident in the rapid and flexible adaptation to market changes as well as in the continual development of new products and product innovations that can secure long-term customer loyalty.
The focus of our efforts is the quality of our internationally recognised products. All operational procedures and the entire manufacturing process, from acquisition to production to sales, have been optimised for quality.
Premium materials have a special significance for the quality of our lineo artist brushes. Out of conviction, we only use selected fine hairs produced in Germany, such as kolinsky red sable hair, squirrel hair and high-quality synthetic hairs. When selecting our brush handles, we also place great value on uncompromising quality of the woods used, as well as premium lacquering.
Our artist brushes are manufactured primarily by hand by experienced specialists. Our school and hobby brushes are also made by our trained brush makers. In order to guarantee the high level of quality of our products, we regularly conduct employee training courses. Testing and final inspection of all brushes are performed by our experienced master brush maker himself.
Out of a deep conviction and to secure the unlimited quality of our products, our production is done exclusively in Germany. For decades, we have been supplying customers all over Europe and overseas from our headquarters, offering them a persuasive price/performance ratio without compromise to quality. The brand lineo and the Albert Bieringer GmbH Künstlerpinselfabrik stand by this quality with their name.
