Carl Zitzmann, together with his wife Sophie and 10 employees, found 1914 the "Aluminiumwarenfabrik Fischbach", where they begin to manufacture vacuum jugs.
Together with nearly 300 employees and many friends of the company alfi celebrates its 75th anniversary in 1989. In 1992 alfi builds further production facilities and sets up a new showroom for its latest products.The new Commercial Center is being opened in 2001. Besides from logistical installations, education and show rooms the Factory outlet 2A and the Bistro “Hot and Cold” are also part of the building.
