ARÜ - Alfons Rüschenbaum GmbH
Since 1926 Alfons Rüschenbaum GmbH is a competent and powerful partner for the lighting- furniture- and appliance-industry. We today have one of the most modern and fully automated production lines for cable manufactury, and produce at three production plants a full range of manufactured cables, internal wirings, cordsets, lampholders and accessories.
All of our products are being manufactured and tested according to latest technologies. The close cooperation with international license instutes and our internal quality management guarantee highest quality and security.

1926: Foundation of the company as a trading enterprise for lighting accessories, by H. Polklesener
1955: Takeover by Alfons Rüschenbaum, using new name
1985: Takeover by H. Polklesener in third generation 1986 : Expansion of product programme, first production of cable cuts
1987: First automatic machine for cutting and stripping of cables
1992: Development of first fully automated machine for complete production of cable cuts
This machine was the cornerstone for our current, highly sophisticated machinery
2001: Foundation of a new factory in Werl, continuous growth
2003: New Building of a factory-hall at the head office in Arnsberg, continuous growth
2004: Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001
2007: Foundation of a new factory in Dongguan, China
today:
• about 50 employees in Germany
• about 50 employees in China
• Most modern and up to date machinery and equipment for:
• Production of Cordsets, cable cuts, internal wirings, cable harnesses
• assembly works and lighting accessories, Research, Development, Consulting, Service
