The Alfred Pracht company was founded by Margarethe Pracht and Alfred Pracht in 1953 and is the upshot of an electrical installation company which has existed since 1926 - Ludwig Pracht & Söhne.
The luminaire cases for the Iso-oval luminaires manufactured in the fifties were already manufactured with our own plastic processing machines.
A new stage of development began with the first series of strip lights with the PRACHT CLIP SYSTEM, which is still very successful, and the extremely short seal surfaces.
This stage of development of the PRACHT strip light generation in the year 1960 is an important part of the company’s successful history.

We supply a programme of luminaires with custom solutions to allow you to optimally satisfy your lighting requirements. This also includes customer-specific luminaire and reflector technology.
Our factory contains a modern and effective plastic manufacturing section for thermoset and thermoplastic materials. We wish to be a potent partner for our customers and we introduced a quality management system in 1995. We were certified under DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 on 12th July 1995 by the VDE Test and Certification Institute.
