ARTEFITA IS A PROJECT
This project was born in 1995 from the ambition of a young team. Most of us are still faithful to our targets of giving rise to a project, which feels to be incomplete far away from being perfect.
Twelve years ago, everything was small, only the force and energy of this young team was quite big.
Today we have 2.400square meters, full of capacity. Starting with the extrusion line for PP yarn, warping machines, different kind of looms (light and heavy, including jacquard), dyeing and finishing machines, printing machines (silk screen and sublimation) and also a stitching and assembly department.
ARTEFITA`s products are present in different European countries as Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Lithuania, Norway, Spain and Sweden, representing 60% of the annual turnover of the company.
Taking a piece of yarn we are proud to woven any type of - rigid or elastic webbing - in PP, PES, PA, Cotton or Glass Fibre.
Taking a piece of webbing we are able to apply finishing like aromatic, waterproof, oil repellent, anti UV, anti static or anti bacteria.
The same piece of webbing also can be transformed in a very complete range of straps with different field of applications.
Two types of printing on the webbing are also available, by silk screen or sublimation, depending the exigency or quality wanted by the customer.
In 2005, it was time to give still more confidence to our customers, improving the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System.
Also in 2005 we started use the KNOT brand for some ARTEFITA`s ready made products, mainly for the local market, but slowly we have been growing also abroad specially in the transport and logistic products where the KNOT label is always present.
The good sense is always present in all the relationship of ARTEFITA`s business, with our customers, with our suppliers, with our employers and also with our neighbour community.
