Our company, the Artur Schnabel GmbH, is specialised in producing metal embossing, spin casting, industrial hand painting and tin miniatures. We are especially proud of portraying our models in great detail. All in all our range of products includes about 30.000 different articles. Due to our own tool making we are able to respond to our customers’ wishes at short notice.
The whole range of our products is designed and produced within our company.
Our company was founded in 1905 in Gablonz an der Neiße by Mr Rudolf Schnabel, who was specialised in hat and hunting ornaments, as well as in souvenirs with alpine motifs. After the second world war, our company was re-founded in Neugablonz (near Kaufbeuren, Bavaria) by Mr Artur Schnabel (II. generation). Like his father, he was specialised in hat and hunting ornaments, costume jewellery and souvenirs.
With Gerhard Schnabel as technical manager and Wolfgang Schnabel as commercial manager the third generation entered the company. Since 2001 joined by Thomas Schnabel in the fourth generation of our family-owned enterprise.
In 2000, the jewellery production of the former Ginzkey company from Schwäbisch Gmünd (Bavaria) was included in our range.
Our Schnabel-Zinn Logo stands for the high quality of our tin articles.
As another branch we produce technical items with the spin casting process, what we perfected in developing and producing a mobile H0 model of the first German railway, the Adler.
We are always looking forward to new challenges concerning modelling or production.
