ASCO BV was founded in 1988. The company is located in the south of the Netherlands in the mediaeval town of Roermond, close to both the Belgian and German border.
ASCO is primarily an engineering- and development company for machines and equipment for (home)textiles and the sun protection industry.
Because customers were looking for "turn key" solutions ASCO began to manufacture its own machines and cutting tables and consequently had to move its workshop to larger premises in 1990. End of 2007 ASCO will move to a new plant with 6000m² manufacturing space.
ASCO engineers are used to design equipment with a keen ear for customers’ demands. ASCO aims to build high quality machines for a reasonable price, using the state of the art technology.
As a specialist for technical fabrics ASCO designs and builds machines and equipment for:
- Textile- and garment industries such as inspection,
measuring and finishing machines.
- Wholesalers for home textile fabrics: Programmable
rewinding and cut-off machines
- Curtain and sample book manufacturers: programmable
machines to cut-off
panels and cutting machines for length and cross cutting.
- Sun protection industry, our main business. A complete
range of equipment for cutting and assembling roller blinds,
roman blinds, insect screens, sun screens, awnings and more,
for example ultrasonic cutting tables for made to measure and
ready made blinds, welding equipment for screens, scalloping
machines, laser cutting tables, etc.
- Welding machines and cutting machines for the sign industry.
- Technical textiles, high tech fabrics, filter industry, etc.
All equipment has been developed and tested in close cooperation with major companies all over the world. Before a new machine is released for export it has been tested for a long period of time and brought to perfection.
