This PLCC-4 mid-power LED is one of the smallest 0.5 Watt packages available on the market. Its small size enables higher packaging density on a given area compared to other half-Watt solutions. The high drive current can be supported because of the enhanced heat dissipation capability which additionally allows you to operate the LED at up to 120°C ambient temperature.
