It is already existing for 100 years at the same location manufacturing textile ribbons.

Between 1965 and 1970 the company' s profile "Erfurter Flechttechnik" has changed. The production of technical ribbons, rovings and plaited products became important. In the former GDR it was the leading producer of wicks, laces and cords for industry and trade.

Today Bergal Erfurter Flechttechnik is one of the largest braiding companies in Europe. A close cooperation with new customers offers the opportunity of new product developments. Experience, development and manufacturing of braided goods lead to the following product groups:
