Horst Lettenmayer, owner and managing director of betec Licht AG in Munich founded his company in 1979 as a partnership. In 1981 he transformed it into a limited company which it still is to this day.
A solid professional career starting with an apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic followed by the study and a university degree in electrical engineering paved the way to his later success.
His second career began with his decision to become an actor, a profession he pursued for 7 years. The only remnant of this time is the opening scene of the crime series "Tatort" (scene of the crime).
His aspired career did, however, not begin until he was the manager of his own company Betec.
