With a built-up area of 1,50,000 sq.ft which includes Factory, Office, Laboratory, Canteen and Hostels in its 3.25 Hectare Campus, B.K.S is located about 45 Kms from Coimbatore, the Manchester of South India, and is also closely connected to three major sea ports in South India by road & rail.
B.K.S. is one amongst the few mills in the country to have started producing organic sustainable textiles, Coated Fabrics and Madeups. The in-house online Q.C. & testing laboratory ensures highest level of quality. B.K.S has acquired ISO 9001-2000 QMS Certification for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 - 2004-EMS Certification for Environmental Management System and SA-8000-2001 for Social Accountability. B.K.S is holding certificate for Organic sustainable textiles production issued by Control Union Certifications (Skal International, Netherlands). B.K.S. has acquired accreditation for its testing laboratory from "National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories" (NABL).

Mr. M.Senthil Kumar, promoter of B.K.S. Textiles Private Limited, was the Chairman of "Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL)", an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, during 2003-2004, established for the development of small scale Weaving Sector.
The concept of establishing Hi-tech weaving park at various weaving centers was initiated by Mr. Senthil Kumar while he was the Chairman of PDEXCIL. The first such park viz “Palladam Hi-tech Weaving Park”, comprising of 700 Hi-tech shuttleless Looms, is coming up at Palladam, of which Mr. Senthil Kumar is the Chairman cum Managing Director.
