In 1951 Mr. Heinrich Braun and Mr. Albert Wettberg established the Company Braun, Wettberg & Co.
The company specialized in the production of fine brushes and it expanded rapidly. In 1954 a new department for the production of artificial fibres was included.
In 1959 the factory moved to a new and much larger production site and a modern office building.
The factory’s range of brushes in production has constantly expanded and now comprises a large variety of hair, body care and clothes brushes as well as many gift items such as razor and shaving sets, tie and belt hangers and many more articles in attractive gift packaging.
Since 1998 the Braun & Wettberg factory has been FSC certified. By purchasing FSC certified wood the company ensures that only wood from well managed and sustainable forests is used for the production of its brushes. It is also made sure that raw materials and components come from environmentally friendly sources.
A large percentage of the products is exported overseas and the EC countries, Japan, Australia and the United States are important export markets.
