The Antwerp-based company BuzziSpace is the creative subsidiary of Tecnospace.com, which specialises in cleverly designed partition walls for offices. With BuzziSpace, the company aims to offer innovative sound-insulating solutions for both the workplace and the home.

The first products - the Buzzizone, BuzziBoard, Buzzilight and BuzziScreen made of BuzziFelt, a 100% recycled material made of old plastic bottles - were an instant hit. When designer Sas Adriaenssens revealed her designs in 2007, she immediately won ‘The design Brussels award’ and a ‘Marie-claire Maison award’ at Maison & Objet in Paris. But that wasn’t all. After the ‘design at Work award’ in 2008, she received in 2009 the prestigious ‘Henry Van de Velde label’ for her honest and innovative designs.

BuzziSpace was catapulted onto the world stage and rapidly extended its range whilst staying dedicated to its original philosophy: ecology, flexibility and acoustics. BuzziSpace has since added the BuzziSkin sound-insulation wallpaper, the BuzziSpot 3D & BuzziCube 3D, and is attracting other renowned designers to extend the range in creative ways. For example, Anthony Duffeleer came up with the BuzziPlants and Alain Gilles created the BuzziBooth, BuzziHood & BuzziHub. More creativity from Alain Gilles is expected soon!

Today we can hardly imagine our interiors or offices without an entire BuzziSpace universe.

BuzziSpace has managed to turn throwaway plastic bottles into an attractive design product, meeting our need for a greener world for ourselves and our grandchildren.
