Dong-A Pencil Co. was established as the first stationery manufacturer in Korea in 1946. Dong-A Pencil has continuously developed and produced high-quality and elegant products (including pencils, ball point pens, and mechanical pencil leads etc.) for 50 years. Today Dong-A Pencil is one of the world's major stationery suppliers, acquiring the confidence at home and abroad.
Dong-A Materials Co. which was established in 1974 has produced art supplies, like pastel crayons, water colors, poster colors, felt-tip pens, board markers and more. Also, the stability of its products was authorized by acquiring AP mark.
Dong-A Engineering Co. which was established in 1990 has produced all sorts of parts for stationery manufacturing, and in 1997 Yong Art Co., a distribution company, was taken over to expand a business field. Also in 1999, Joint Dong-A Stationery Corporation in Guangzhou, China was established to make a base for a major global producer.
To become a company that gives hopes and dreams to young people and to become a company that young people like sincerely and believe in, all the members in Dong-A Pencil Co. are working hard at now in creating and developing new products.
