The beaten track does not lead to the goal

We are EAT - The DesignScope Company. Today we are a software house for all applications from electronic textile patterning all the way to textile production data.

It has not always been like that. In 1983, textile engineers Klaus P. Lepka and his partner had developed systems to simplify certain working steps in the textile industry. In the beginning, that just meant to substitute the manual drafting onto design point paper by semi-automatic steps on a computer. The way led from "PatroScope" to "DesignScope". For years now, the DesignScope system is one of the market leaders in the area of electronic patterning.

A few years ago there were hardly any computers capable of processing EAT's wisdom at an acceptable speed. Via operating systems such as OS9, Unix and Linux, EAT has now taken a decisive step further. At ITMA 1999 in Paris, EAT for the first time presented the prototype of the revolutionary new system made by EAT. Initially prepared for WINDOWS®, the new system "DesignScope victor" has been developed completely independent of a particular operating system. That was an important decision for us, but primarily for our customers and users.

This concept determines a new reality in the CAD/CAM sector of the textile industry. On one hand, the software is very service- and care-friendly because of its operating system. The peripherals are available by standard drivers and the service accessible worldwide. The possibility of worldwide networking through the Internet is also a decisive factor. On the other hand, it carries the whole experience of 20 years of in-depth concern related to all technical and creative aspects of textile production.

EAT DesignScope victor: The most modern software with the experience of the perfect craftsman.

Not without a reason our clients call this step a revolution. Only because EAT has a steady eye on the market, the technical development consequently follows and is always ready to walk off the beaten track. We have arrived here.

Welcome to The New Reality!
