Founded in 1972 as a materials distributor to the Book industry, the 1979 acquisition of our Rhode Island coating facility expanded Ecological Fibers, Inc. into a premiere producer of Luxury Coated Coverings. Under the trade name Rainbow®, we offer the largest assortment of Environmentally Sound Paper Based Cover Materials and Bindery Supplies available under one roof.
TECHNOLOGY
All products are developed with a sense of responsibility not only for their quality, but also for their impact on the environment. All Rainbow® Coated Materials use 100% SOLVENT FREE, WATER-BASED COATINGS, developed by our manufacturing team.
FACILITIES
72,000 sq. ft. plant in Lunenburg Massachusetts houses our main offices as well as our colored paper, book cloth, flocked paper, and bindery supplies converting operations.
Our state of the art 140,000 sq. ft. coating plant, Ecological Fibers, Inc. Pawtucket in Rhode Island was completely renovated in 2000. It is located in the heart of the U.S. box making industry and has produced luxury packaging materials for almost 100 years.
