Established in Karabuk, Mid-Anatolia, in 1962 to manufacture brake drums for trucks, trailers and buses. EKU continued to develop its business throughout the years in serving to domestic OEM and replacement market. After moving to Kartal, Istanbul in 1967, EKU has started expanding its product line to meet the growing market demand. Using the advanced manufacturing technologies and the quality management system enabled EKU to be a well-known supplier in the global market since 1987. EKU added brake discs to its product line to follow the market trend and strengthen its position as the automotive industry’s recognized brand name.
The yearly output will increase by threefold and reach up to 1.000.000-finished products with the new capital investment that started two years ago.
