Precision workmanship and elaborate design of Best Clean light fittings ensure the best parameters including luminance control. Controlled luminance L<200 cd/m2 can be reached at an emission angle above 60°. The body of the light fitting is made of 0,5mm thick steel sheet. It is provided with a white powder coat finish resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants. RAL 9003 is used by default. Other RAL colours such as RAL 9010 or RAL 9006 are available on request.

An optical cover made of toughened safety glass is fixed to the light fitting with high-quality neodymium permanent magnets. No additional frame and locks are used to support the glass. The hard-to-clean surface is therefore minimized. The cover is also fixed to the light fitting with safety steel wires that prevent it from falling down while the light sources are being replaced. A suction cup is necessary for opening the light fitting (to be ordered separately). Protection: IP65. All electro components used in the light fittings as well as the light fittings themselves have been approved for safe operation. The ENEC 21 certificate has been issued for the light fittings and a “Declaration of Conformity” has been issued for all light fittings in accordance with s.13 ss.5 of Act No. 22/97 Coll. as amended.

The light fittings are intended for 230V/ 50Hz nominal voltage. They are equipped with screwless terminal boards for connection of supply conductors with solid core up to S=2,5mm2. Connection of the light fitting to the electrical network can also be done with gesis or wago connectors. Light fittings for T5 (O 16mm) fluorescent lamps are equipped with electronic ballasts by default. Light fittings for T8 (O 26mm) fluorescent lamps are equipped with chokes and parallel compensated. They can also be equipped with electronic ballasts. All light fittings can be produced in a dimmable version and equipped with emergency power supplies. In case of a power supply failure, one fluorescent lamp remains on – it maintains approximately 10% of its nominal value during one hour. The time can be extended up to 3 hours.

The design determines these light fittings for installation in cleanrooms (operating theatres, intensive care units, pharmaceutical factories) – i.e. for rooms with high safety requirements such as pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, producers of electronic components etc.
