THE PRINCIPLES
The capacity for initiative, innovation, flexibility and quality were the beliefs of the founders of Adalberto Estampados more than 30 years ago. These are still the underlying principles of our company. We work 24 hours a day with a daily production in the order of 50 km, which corresponds approximately to an annual production of 20 million m².

TECHNOLOGY
Recognizing the rapid evolution of the markets inside and outside Europe, Adalberto Estampados planted the seeds of versatility and technological advantage within its organization. A large and continuous number of investments in technologically advanced equipment, coupled with a remarkable design of industrial processes have placed our company a step ahead.

PRINTING
We are mainly known for the excellent quality of our printing - this has earned the loyalty of our clients. We are proficient in both rotary and panel designs and have the know-how for the execution of direct printing of corrosion and reserve, with reactive dyes, vats, disperses, acids and basics, as well as pigments and other special processes (devor mates, metal effects, bright and polychromatic). We work hard and feel rewarded when we solve a technical problem. The preparation of pastes is a task in which the experience of our technicians, together with expertise in working the colorimetric systems, guarantees the highest standards of quality. In reality it's a kind of art and they are more than technicians.
For the preparation we have installed a dye house equipment capable of treating knitwear and woven fabrics no matter how different the natural, artificial or synthetic fibers might be. The most advanced technological equipments, controlled by microprocessors, weighing assisted by computer, automatic chemical products sending system, integrated in a central control and managing system guarantee color reproduction, flexibility and speed of response. We take pride in our work.
The final touch: With the same care as throughout the productive process the finishing technology of Adalberto Estampados allow us to satisfy our client's demands. We can carry out the most sophisticated technical finishing both chemical, flame retardant; water repellence; soil release, and mechanical, compacting, grinding, brushing; tumbling; cutting and calendaring.

The implementation of our quality system gave Adalberto Estampados the recognition as accredited company by the ISO 9002 standard.
In today's market answers are essential to acknowledge the conformity of our products to the highest quality standards. It is this awareness that leads us to develop such an important area as the quality control of our products from order reception to export dispatch. Having the necessary equipped laboratory for quality control and well trained people to perform the task we can make all chemical and physical tests required to assure that our client's expectations will be satisfied.

ECOLOGY
To guarantee that the transformation of our products responds effectively to the ecological requirements the selection of suppliers, chemicals and raw materials is a fundamental process. We care about the consumers so we certified all our processes and products with the Oko-Tex standard - this helps us to be reassured that no harm to health will happen.
Conscious of our responsibility towards the future of our planet we have gone a long way in order to minimize our impact in the environment. The construction of a water treatment plant includes a complete system of recovery and recycling of effluents, a system for separation of solid residues.
We have also installed a heat recovery system which helps reduce the consumption of energy and emission of pollutant gases. We also take part in an integrated system of depollution of Vale do Ave area created in cooperation with an EU project. The measures already in place culminated in the recognition of both the Ministry of Environment and the ECO-TEX.

DISTRIBUTION AND LICENSING
Adalberto Estampados started commission printing for the licensing business 10 years ago. It is an exciting activity that makes all our energies converge. Being so, this activity became a very important trade to the company and since 2001 we have our own licensed range that includes:
Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, Marvel, Ben 10, Disney, Noddy, Caillou, Pocoyo. Different markets, different brands: We also distribute Ferrari and Playboy in selected stores. For the upper market we have our own brand, Natura, Essenza, Pip and Cottonfield. Our main markets are Portugal, France and Spain, in which we are present in all distribution channels.
