The roots of the Carl Everts Company are based in the years of 1897 as the scissors sharpener Carl Everts moved from town to town with his mobile grindstone to sharpen blades, scissors and all kinds of cutting items. Only some years later he settled down in Solingen where the company still has his manufacture and built up the production of first class Manicures and scissors of the famous brand KREUZBUBE. This scissors, some of them are still in use today, were perfect masterpieces and showed the skill of the handcraft in Solingen. The next generation entered the business when Hans Everts started the fast growth of the Company in the following years. The brand name KREUZBUBE was established and since this days is known as best Solingen made Manicures. The Carl Everts Company became one of the leading suppliers for Manicures and pedicures in Germany and all over the world.

The families traditon was continued by the daughter up to today and will be continued by Heiko Schmitz in the 4th generation. To complete the range of Manicures the edos line was created as a alternative to the traditional brand KREUZBUBE. The edos collection offers best Solingen made Manicures and very competitive prices. It should be mentioned that all items are made in Solingen because the company wants to stay in the traditional location in Solingen and not giving away any production outside the own company.
