FAFNIR’s history began in Hamburg in the year 1965. There the entrepreneurial Sager family founded a company which specialized in the development and production of filling level systems.
FAFNIR’s first product was an overfill prevention system for heating oil tanks. This safety system prevents the overfilling of tanks and process containers and has become a great success. Further products for other industries, such as the chemical and food industries, were developed successively.
The products from Hamburg quickly conquered the European market. Today selected marketing partners work together worldwide in order to present our extensive product range in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia as well as in North and South America. Our customer orientated philosophy is most important for us.
It is based on competence, innovation, quality as well as support and safety. These four pillars determine all our activities in the international market.
