The Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry is an institute specializing in professional production design and technology, which was created with the integration of the Korea Research Institute for Sewing Technology, and the Fashion Center Korea, in April, 2010. In an effort to reinforce the international competitiveness of the Korean fashion industry, the Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry is carrying out numerous support activities throughout all areas of the domestic fashion industry. They include; information publishing, prototype production, marketing assistance, human resources training, and performing R&D functions.
