FR Safety Yarns GmbH & Co KG is located in southern Germany and is the marketing and distribution pool for friction or air textured DIOLEN®SAFE filament and staple fiber yarns as well as effect yarns in various strengths and qualities for manufacturing of flame retardant textiles.

Manufacturers of high quality home textiles using FR polyester yarns can expect a one-stop full service package. The expert team ensures reliable logistic handling, comprehensive advisory services, technical support and timely delivery. Specialities related to DIOLEN®SAFE are developed in dialogue with B2B customers. Cooperation concepts with pull marketing effect are implemented in close partnership with customers. Consistent high quality of the product range is ensured by a sophisticated trademark licensing system for fabric manufacturers with fammability test certificates ("fabric license system").

Behind DIOLEN®SAFE are two well known European companies with production headquarters in Germany. The TWD Fibres GmbH, a company with fully integrated production facilities and a fine tradition, that is part of the Daum & Cie. Group, is not only known for its high quality filament yarns in PES, PA, PP and PBT quality, but also for its modern and high-performance yarn dyeing mill: one of the biggest of its kind in Europe with more than 5000 tons dyeing bobbins capacity per year. The other partner, Lauffenmühle GmbH & Co KG, one of a few remaining fully integrated textile companies with a fine tradition and corporate heritage, produces effect yarns, core yarns and threads of various qualities and is bluesign standard certified.
