FRAMAR has been a leading Italian firm in the household products and DIY sector for over 40 years.
It can count on the strength of its over 130 employees, has its own technical laboratory in which all new products are perfected and tested and can draw on the collaboration of various designers for the planning of new articles.
In the Mombello Monferrato (Piedmont, Italy) factory, which covers an area 40,000 square metres, around 4,500 ironing boards, 2,500 ladders, 3,000 footstools and 1,000 clothes horses and relative accessories are manufactured daily. When manufacturing its own products, Framar has always combined two aspects which are thought to be fundamental:
the aesthetic aspect which must be pleasing to the consumer’s eye, with the safety aspect which is a cardinal point in Framar products, sanctioned by numerous certificates of quality awarded to the products by the competent institutional bodies.
Framar produces an annual turnover of around 21 million euros, equally distributed between the Italian market and for exportation.
Framar products, available in Italy both in traditional retail and large-scale retail, are exported to Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East and Oceania. In all these places they satisfy the spontaneous demand for a product of high quality and reliability, particularly with regards to products such as ladders, footstools and ironing boards, for the obvious reason of safety in the home.

The fierce competitiveness in some channels of wide consumption plays on the economic leverage, often favouring low quality and an easy, impulse-buy product which is dictated to by its price; the task Framar sets out to accomplish is to lead the consumer’s attention back to the importance of an excellent product with a guaranteed brand name, which rewards the client for the choice made. Framar’s whole offer, therefore, intends to be the solution to the consumer’s everyday tasks, expressed in a clear and efficacious way and at the right price.

Today Framar is renewing itself and its offer, unique, unmistakable and dynamic, remaining a brand name which is a symbol of Italian manufacturing, a leader in its sector. Quality and, above all, safety together with an eye-catching design which highlights the particulars of the new functions especially created to increase easy use. To facilitate the communication of its values, Framar started by updating the packaging and making it user-friendly, according to the most modern marketing concepts: a form of communication which “speaks” to the potential client and aids them in their decision-making. The final user will therefore be helped to understand the value of what they are choosing in terms of quality and reliability, values which are- after all- their expectations, their demands.
