van Clewe sunProtection GmbH – textile sun protection for greater comfort

In addition to providing finishing as a customer service, van Clewe also specializes in manufacturing and distributing its own textile products. Its first subsidiary was sunProtection GmbH, founded in 1995. The idea for the company came out of van Clewe's experience back in the 1970s, when, in collaboration with various European customers, fine coatings were developed for textile sun protection. Shortly after the company was founded, it established its own range of products in this area. The range focused initially on vertical blinds, before developing to include roller blinds. The success of the specialist company was evident in the purchase of its first pleating machine in 1999 and the construction of its own company complex, with a production hall and warehouse, in 2001.
The current range from van Clewe sunProtection GmbH comprises more than 300 items, including products for shading and sun protection, such as roller blinds, vertical blinds, panel curtains and pleated blinds. These are made from high-quality, special textiles with additional functions, such as low flammability or light reflection, dim-out or black-out; they may be transparent or have a Perlex coating, a striped print or an embossed pattern. The sunProtection fabrics meet all of the demands of the market as far as functional and aesthetic considerations are concerned.
Moreover, sunProtection will manufacture specific products for customers on request. Even unusual requirements of the fabrics used for roller blinds, vertical binds and pleated blinds can be accommodated in accordance with the customer's specifications. vitaTex - health products providing better care in every fiber

As a result of the growing share of healthcare products being sold alongside sunProtection's core business, vitaTex was set up as an independent subsidiary of the van Clewe Group. vitaTex makes textile products for the healthcare segment. The customers for vitaTex products are mainly clinics and hospitals, companies in the field of home care, hotels and wellness and leisure facilities. The range includes sleeping bags, sauna pads, deck chair covers and kimonos for the wellness segment. In the healthcare and accommodation sector, vitaTex provides incontinence pads, mattress protectors - including for allergy sufferers - disinfectant wipes, seat pads and adult sanitary protection.

What makes vitaTex products distinctive is their high quality, long shelf life, easy-care and contemporary design and, above all, the extremely strong healthcare properties that they offer. Always oriented to the requirements of the market, vitaTex combines quality and functionality in the healthcare segment. dekoTex - fabric that makes a room!

dekoTex is the newest subsidiary of the van Clewe Group and was founded in 2007. The company specializes in the manufacture of drapes and decorative fabrics that have additional functions. The innovative, high-quality drape and decorative fabrics are designed to meet the needs of theaters, stages, studios, shops, bars and exhibition centers. The materials offer special properties, such as low flammability, sound absorption, light resistance, elasticity, washability, a long lifespan or even cut resistance. The extensive collection covers various items in the product segments of dimming fabrics, stretch fabrics, decorative fabrics, digital printing fabrics, floor cloths, blackout materials, molton, cotton and polyester. Standard items can be supplied to customers directly from stock.
