GEVE was found in 1969 by Mr. and Ms. VERDAT sr. . In the early beginning GEVE manufactured design lamps. After some time GEVE worked with a lot of sub contractors and added also a part of distribution to its activities. From the garage where it all started, GEVE grew up to a mature company. The covered area was mainly Belgium and Luxemburg.
In the early 90ties the second generation entered the family business, and choose for a strategy of own manufacturing and branding. This as well as export to different countries. GEVE grew to a mid to major size company still 100% owned by the Verdat family.
The brand name Verdace was also created in the 90ties, reflecting the family name.
Since 2002, Linea Verdace - GEVE is located in a brand new building of more then 8000 m².
At this moment, Linea Verdace is sold in Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, England, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, and all the way down under: New Zealand.
