Initially established in 1949 as a twisting mill specialising in pure silk throwing processes, Ghezzi Spa has, over the years, moved on to the pursuit of technological evolutions involving man made fibres. The company currently avails of production facilities housing machinery for a total of approx. 30,000 spindles, turning out a 200 ton monthly production of both artificial and synthetic continuous filament yarns.
The recently installed and highly innovative technology has enabled the company to gain the edge on ensuring both manufacturing quality and marketing success, making it into one of the foremost European yarn manufacturer. Corporate marketing and sales activities are managed by a network of Agents present in the major textile areas both in Italy and abroad, backed by an in-house technical team engaged in product service, on top of research and development activities of new products, designed and/or customised to specific customer requirements.
Quality control is warranted by continuous, in-line monitoring of the production processes and by advanced laboratory facilities covering raw material, end product as well as woven and knit fabric analyses, testing and approvals. Ghezzi Spa is consistently available to its Customers for all the technical information required for optimised product implementation and development, whatever the application.
