HERKA is a well established terry manufacturer located in Kautzen, Austria.
HERKA was founded in 1927 by Karl Hermann, whose name was model for the company name (HERmann KArl GMBH). The company is still family run in fourth generation, and is currently comprised of a staff of seventy employees. HERKA offers a wide range of products that combine exacting manufacturing with high quality materials.
At HERKA, we emphasize modern comfort and design, while never losing sight of the quality and sophistication that HERKA represents. State of the art equipment, highest quality yarns and well trained staff result in unsurpassed style and quality of the towels, which we produce. The company is ÖKO-TEX 100 certified and observes high environmental standards according to ISO 14000. More than 60% of all products are exported. Department stores, shops for interior decoration as well as hotel suppliers and professional laundries are among the wide range of customers. Many leading hotels in Central Europe are equipped with HERKA towels, large industrial laundries in Austria, Germany and Switzerland are permanent partners.
We offer an extensive collection of products that can be delivered promptly. One example from the collection is a top selling product “PRESTIGE” – fine fluffy terry – an article which can be delivered in 36 colours and different sizes for towels as well as several types of bathrobes: kimono, scarf-collar or hooded, short or calf-long version.
Furthermore HERKA is exclusive licensee of the well-reputed German designer label OTTO KERN for an exclusive collection of towellings and bed linens in timeless colours.
