Our company history dates all the way back to the founding of the company in 1863 in Pforzheim (Germany).
Our silverware factory is now in its sixth generation. Shortly after this a branch was opened in Schwabisch Gmund, at Baldungstrasse 5, and this in turn led to the launch of our first silverware factory. In the beginning the focus of production was on solid embossed silver jewelry in neo-Renaissance shapes/style. Influenced by the market the focus of our production changed to small silverware articles such as toiletry articles, accessories for smokers and silver-mounted crystal goods. The combination of increasingly complicated production and sales success led to the continuous expansion of the production site.
Today we specialize in 925 sterling silver picture frames, gift items and silverplated crystal objects. Of particular note are our crystal items such as carafes, bowls and decanters, all of which are electroplated with 1000/000 silver.
We have signed exclusive contracts with Isabel Cabanillas S.L., Spain (picture frame manufacturer) and La Galaica S.L., Spain (manufacturer of silver-mounted crystal objects) to market their products in central Europe and further stabilize our position on the market.
More than fifty percent of the products we offer are still manufactured by us at the original site in Baldungstrasse.
