B-CON is the multi-supplier control technology software for larger facilities and sites. Our software allows to create PC-based management systems for all levels in the area of technical building management in an easy way. That makes B-CON the perfect tool for varied project requirements. By combining all subsections in one system, it is possible to realize a large number of functions beginning with lighting control systems, intelligent blind control, integration of videos, web applications up to an easily operating weather data service. As standard tool for visualizations based on KNX, BACnet, LON or Modbus for example, as well as to support powerful IP gateways for multisite systems − B-CON guarantees the highest level of productivity in creating visualization and management systems due to the large number of B-CON add on's like AEM, Cost Center Allocation, or the Instruction module – just limited by your own creativity.

B-CON is a Windows based system for building control that is in use in more than 4,700 projects worldwide. Currently, more than 1,000 different supplier systems can be connected to B-CON. The installation can be carried out on a standard Windows PC. Beside the latest operating systems like Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and Windows Server 2008, B-CON still supports Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003.

B-CON is a server-client application. The whole data is storaged in a central server, which allocates the data from the subsections to the work stations (clients) by using the protocols TCP and UDP. By using these non-proprietary protocols, it is possible to communicate with security networks or VLAN's.

As server, a physical server as well as a server or a work station in a VM-Ware can be used. The software B-CON is copy protected by a licence dongle. This has to be related to the application when a VM-Ware is used.

Additional software modules, e.g. the History, are connected to standard data base systems like MS-ACCESS or MS SQL-Server Express. It is also possible to use SQL-Server 2008 or 2008. Please find the complete system requirements on www.iconag.com.
