Karsu Tekstil established in 1973 to spun cotton yarn, has added several items to product gam since than and currently supplying technical, functional and fashion yarns and fabrics for several end uses and it's  shares are traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange since 1997.
 
Karsu Tekstil, which closely keeps up to date on technology and adopts to be a pioneer in its field cuurently offers raw, dyed, melange and twisted yarns by using ring, vortex, OE, compact, siro, core spinning technologies. Karsu  produces 15.500 tons of yarn per year and exports 35% of yarns all over the world and targeted to extend this ratio.

Karsu has strategical business partnership with Lenzing since 1995 and is the first spinner to get quality certificate from Lenzing. Karsu is the exclusive Lenzing Modal spinner for Turkey including speciality fibers like MicroModal® , Lenzing Modal® LOFT (for towelling), MicroModal® AIR and exclusive Promodal® spinner for Europe. Karsu also has the sole authorisation from Advansa to produce Thermocool(R), Coolmax(R), thermolite(R) etc. qualifying yarns in Tukey and from Tervira to produce Trevira BA yarns in Turkey.
 
Karsu produces yarns with different characteristics based on R&D taking customer demands and manufactured product characteristics in consideration, in mélange and blend yarn technologies such as technical yarns like Lenzing FR, kermel, twaron, modacrylic, newstar and blends; functional yarns like coolmax, thermolite, thermocool, trevira BA, aircell, metalic yarns and blends and cellulosic yarns like promodal, modal, micromodal, tencel, viscose bamboo and blends with cotton, wool, linen, polamide, polyester, silk, cashmere etc
