The company has grown from four small firms :
LUNA - was established in 1916, and produced kerosene lamps
LAV - was established in 1921, and produced cutlery knives and cutters for the shoe industry.
ALPA - was established in 1935 , and produced chrome-plated cutlery and knives KORDUN - was established in 1947 , and produced all types of machine saws, hand saws and cutters. Now it also produces a full range of well designed cutlery and tableware.
Since 1962 our company has had it's present locationin Karlovac (45 km from Zagreb).
Former plants from the four different locations are now in one place. Since November 27.1993, KORDUN functions as a joint - stock company. Since July 01. 1999, we are organized as

KORDUN GRUPA has been in business since 1916 and has a well known reputation for high quality products. In April 1998 DIN EN ISO certification was obtained, a mark of quality assurance.
Mostly privatized today, KORDUN GROUP is available for all types of cooperation : joint venture, franchising, etc., with knowledable specialists and excess plant capacity.
