Manifattura Fossa was established in Gallarate in 1953, in the heart of the, at that time named, industrial and textile production triangle (Gallarate, Busto Arsizio, Legnano).
Run by the Fossa family, the company maintains its ancient traditions while keeping an eye on the new solutions offered by modern technology.
But it is not enough.
At the moment Manifattura Fossa is able to use old working’s technologies, which go through the spinning to the weaving. So that can propose to the customers a new design product, combined to the high quality of the “old” Italian product.
All of this it is guaranteed by the employers’ ability, many of whom- as occurred in the past- have learnt their trade in the company.
The company’s machinery, always up-to-date, allows to Manifattura to satisfy all the market requirements, together with the discovery of old looms.
Manifattura Fossa has a marketing network in Italy and exports to several countries such as France , Spain and Germany. Over the years, the company’s careful management strategy has allowed it to expand its presence among consolidated clients and to gain a foothold in new markets.

OUR PRODUCTS
Manifattura Fossa has always been a curtaining specialist. Fabric compositions range from traditional natural fibres such as linen, silk and cotton to synthetic and man-made fibres.
The company’s products are extremely varied (more than 800 samples), are rotated on a quarterly basis, and offer leading-edge manufacture and designs, as a result of the flexible company structure.
It is characteristic of Manifattura Fossa presents its collection of samples in a shawl form, rather than as a book.
The range spans from solids, to jacquards and embroidered and printed fabrics in various colours and widths.
Fossa’s experts have always sought to respond to their clients’ requests, thus achieving high quality standards while catering to market needs.
