The wood used in MILAN pencils does not come from tropical forests, whilst the varnish used to coat and finish our pencils is completely non-toxic.

All MILAN fibrepens have a ventilated cap to prevent asphyxia from accidental ingestion. The ink is non-toxic and has a neutral odor, in accordance with EN71/III and ASTMD 4236 standards.

All MILAN water paints are made using non-toxic, light-resistant pigments suitable for use in schools and by young people.
