THE FUTURE, SINCE 1973
Gino Troncon has been operating in the synthetic leather production sector since 1966, focusing daily on his customers' real needs. On the basis of this experience he decided to create a company specialized in the production of machinery and production lines built around the sector's requirements while breaking new ground. That was in 1973, the year he established a new kind of company, Matex. Since then, Gino Troncon's dream has become a reality shared with his children.
Thanks to the very good results obtained since 1973, company Matex hold today the leadership position on national level in the manufacture of plants and machines for the production of synthetic leathers. The high innovative technology and high efficiency of the plants have enabled Matex to spread worldwide the diffusion of their trademark.
MATEX AND MATROS. TWO NAMES, ONE TARGET
Matros was established in 1988 as a sister company of Matex specialized in the construction of machines and production lines for finishing synthetic leather. The two firms complemented each other by covering different areas of specialization until, in 1999, it was considered appropriate to standardize everything. From then on the job of Matros has been to build ovens, elements of fundamental importance for the success of the line.
Today Matex is the reference point while Matros is the trusty and reliable partner which shares a common target with the parent company: creating quality, always and only, while building the entire product in-house.
INNOVATION HAS FOUND A HOME
An innovative spirit needs its own habitat. That is why 2003 sees the renovation of Matex factory, a futuristic meeting point in which the various departments can merge harmoniously, 5500 square metres in a balanced fusion of architecture and functionalism, an extremely modern seat in which collaborators and customers can feel at ease and where the future is more present than ever.
