Matisse Décoration was founded in 1999 and is owned by Eric Mathou.

The Company, of a surface of around 2000 m² includes a show room, commercial office, design studio, quality control department and weaving facilities.

It location in the heart of the oldest French textiles industries, the Rhone Alpes region near Lyon, famous for its Silk embroidery, gives us opportunity to beneficiate from skilled textile workers.

Matisse’s weaving plant is totalling 2000 sqm with 4 jacquard and 8 flat weaving Dornier looms of the latest technology.

We are also fit with 2 computerized assisted embroidery machines to develop our own embroidery creations using noble materials such as mohair, wool, ribbons or leather on any kind of backgrounds.

The fibers we use are acetate, silk, polyamid, viscosis, velvet, polyester (plain or jacquard), FR yarn.

We are exporting to over 27 countries and our customers are top end distributors and worldwide known editors, our export sales are  70% of our annual turnover.

Integrated to the Company, our design studio enables us to develop ourselves brand new fabrics every year and the most elaborated creations. We can also study tailor-made solutions upon request.

We tend to contemporary and original atmospheres to build a unique interior.

We have also been for over 3 years involved in the Contract industry, our Parisian show room 26-28 Rue Danielle Casanova 75002 Paris (Tel : 00 33 1 40 20 08 99) is mainly dedicated to this activity.
