Tradition
Miquelrius is a family company whose origins go back to 1839 in Barcelona, Spain, and whose business is the production and marketing of paper products and classroom accessories.

Innovation and Design
It started as a workshop for the printing of books for company accounts. Its innovative spirit later led it to release two pioneering products on the market, which provided new organizational and aesthetic functions: diaries with modular parts and their Notebooks, spiral bound exercise books with coloured margins, micro-perforated and punched.  
The success of these products led the company to expand its activity, becoming the only multi-sector company in its field in Spain, able to equip customers with the most varied demands for classroom, office and leisure time material.
Throughout its history, Miquelrius has also developed the capacity to transfer the image of major brands and designers to the universe of stationery and accessories.  

Quality
The company’s stationery products are manufactured at its plant in Parets del Vallès, where the maximum quality of the same is guaranteed by using the best materials and applying a certified quality system based on the ISO 9001 standards.

Internationalization
Following the success of its products in Spain, Miquelrius began to look for opportunities abroad and now distributes to over 60 countries. In 2001, the USA subsidiary of Miquelrius was created to cover the US and Canadian markets. As a result of this international strategy, exports now represent over 30% of the company’s turnover.
The company takes part either directly or through its distributors in over 15 trade fairs abroad. The most important of these are Paperworld in Frankfurt, Intergift in Madrid, and the NY Stationery Show in New York.
