Our company, which was founded 1948, specialises in lighting technology for waterproof and dustproof luminaires. Today we look back with great pride on the widest range of technical luminaires for fluorescent lamps and high pressure lamps in Europe.
With our 270 employees, we are constantly working on innovations and future oriented solutions. NORKA is domestically represented by 22 agencies as well as having sales operations in almost all European countries.
The heart of our commercial and technical divisions is in our administrative office in Hamburg. By using the most modern technology, we are able to develop superb designs and ideas, particularly in the sector of luminaire development.
Noteworthy is our reflector technology – with optimised reflector technology distinct energy saving can be achieved which is becoming more and more important reasons with regard to environmental protection.

Our spare parts service is unique; today you can still obtain spare parts and accessories for luminaires and spotlights from many years ago.

Compared to the early days, there are now a number of technical polymers, i.e. thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics, available for the production of lighting components that warrant long-term functionality which have been chosen according to the latest technical expertise and are innovatively processed.
Resulting from our passion for the manufacturing of luminaires is the processing of the highest amount of self-manufactured parts, to be able to react flexibly to all market and delivery situations in order to guarantee consistent quality.
