Olympia Electronics was founded in 1979 by Nikolaos Lakasas and Panagiotis Arvanitidis
Throughout these 29 years, the company is active in developing innovative electronic safety systems using state of the art technology.
The company, by employing approximately 130 employees, is the dominant Greek enterprise in the electronics safety systems area, with special dynamic presence in 80 countries worldwide.
The company’s philosophy is based on the approach "high quality competitive products with high technology in the most competitive price and customer centric orientation”.
INNOVATION & STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY
Olympia Electronics would not be able to survive the always growing competitive atmosphere, if it did not have for its main goal the production of innovative and state of the art products. With this in mind, the company has succeeded in developing unique products with specific characteristics in the past few years. Proof of this is the fact that since 2002, it has developed the communication protocol OEBS, used in addressable fire detection systems which have point identification capabilities, user friendly menus with multi language support and 240 detectors per loop.
It must be stressed that at this time, it is the only company in Greece that has fully developed the communication protocol OEBS.

Also her products allocate certificates from various laboratories as : ANCO, EMV, PHOENIX TEST LAB, LS, MIKES BABT or countries as UAE,GOST, EURO CERT e.t.c. and CE marking.
Also OLYMPIA - ELECTRONICS A.E.: conquered in 2005 the European enterprise distinction in the scope of EFQM Levels of Excellence and the certificate of conformity of model ELOT 1801 / OHSAS 18001 of EURO CERT.
