The Buggie has a contents of 200 litres, meeting the industrial standards of the meat industry and also several other food processing industries. It has been constructed to resist the tough handling in the food handling industry. The robust Buggie is made out of quality plastics and consists of a proven 3 layer construction. Robust is also the wheel construction which consists of wear resistant nylon wheels having a poly-urethane outer. Stainless steel brackets for lifting are integtated into the plastic wall allowing an optimal cleaning.
The 3-layer polyethylene Buggie absorbs noise whereas stainless steel versions would cause higher levels of noise. The noise will be reduced by 17 dB (96%) when emptying. But also when rolling the Buggie, noise levels will be considerably lower. Also the weight of this container is 45% less than its stainless steel rivals. This way the Buggie helps to reduce hearing damage. The Buggie is available in four colours, allowing colour codification fort he different hygiene zones in the production area.
