In 1961, two young engineers, Dr.-Ing. Klaus Riccius and Dipl.-Ing. Günther Stroschen, coming straight from the Technical University of Berlin with innovative new ideas founded the company with the aim of developing and producing fully electronic controllers for heating-, ventilating- and air- conditioning-systems.
Soon the company progressed and moved out of a one-room establishment into their newly acquired premises with office and production buildings....
Today the company RICCIUS + SOHN Regelungstechnik und Gebäudeautomation GmbH (formerly known as RICCIUS + STROSCHEN) belongs to the leading European manufacturers of efficient DCC-Systems for building automation.
Along with the equipping of buildings with regulation technics and modern controlled energy facilities, the enterprise provides extensive achievements in the field of project management. Which stretches from the concept to the entire construction and implementation of MSR-facilities. A comprehensive service system supports the high reliability of these facilities.
