Founded in 1928 by academically-trained engineer Gustav Rommelsbacher, ROMMELSBACHER has grown to a specialist for electric single and double hot plates which can provide the world's biggest assortment, ranging from the smallest automatic hot plate in the world to the innovative glass ceramic cooking plates. The medium-sized, family-owned enterprise, which is run by the second and third generation in the meantime, additionally offers an extensive programme that features further attractive electrical household appliances, which also distinguish themselves by their first-class quality and highly attractive design.

The extraordinary production depth with an own tool engineering department even allows the development and production of special models, e.g. for the dental and restaurant/catering sector. Another standing leg is the production of OEM products for world-famous companies.

Modern production and testing facilities are just as part of the standard as a committed staff, which distinguishes itself by creativity and flexibility and has so created the basis for an interesting range of appliances and a successful market strategy. The ROMMELSBACHER products are exported to all parts of the world, especially to regions which attach high importance to the 'Made in Germany' quality feature, which only Rommelsbacher can provide in connection with electric hot plates."

The company is based in the 1000-year-old town of Dinkelsbuehl, which is famous for being a real "jewel d'art" as regards medieval urban development and is therefore a destination of many tourists from all over the world. Located on the "Romantic Road", which leads from Wuerzburg to Fuessen, the medieval atmosphere of this town is especially fascinating and provides for an extraordinary experience.
