ROWA GmbH was founded in Seevetal nearby Hamburg in 1958 and was former a natural rubber manufacturing undertaking. Fundamental changes in the international natural rubber business made a new orientation of the old production process necessary. Since 1969 ROWA GmbH is producing resources for the textil coating industry, like surface refining lacquer systems, matting agents and pigment preparations for printing inks. In this special field ROWA GmbH expanded in the last years to a market leader in Europe - with worldwide export sales.
In 1980 ROWA GmbH started with the production of “ROWALID”- masterbatches for all usual thermoplastics. This considerably increasing division is today a further supporting leg of the company and for the future it will also be a strong point for investments.
