RS floor protection mats are made of pure Makrolon® polycarbonate, a premium-quality polymer made of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Thanks to its stable chains of molecules this polymer is virtually unbreakable, highly resistant to deformation and, as compared to PVC vinyl, provides a wide range of advantages for the environment and people’s health.

Unlike PVC mats, Makrolon® polycarbonate mats are made entirely without plasticisers and solvents and do not contain any cadmium, lead, chromium or asbestos or compounds nor formaldehydes. As a result, the mats are completely odourless and absolutely safe with regard to health.

The handmade mats protect the environment and floors alike. Thanks to their extraordinary longevity and durability ungainly signs of wear or foot traffic are prevented. Neither the daily strain exerted by chair castors (resistant to chair castors according to DIN 425) nor intensive UV radiation nor burning cigarettes dropped inadvertently can do any damage to the chair mat.
