Info and Service Centre at the International Office
The Info and Service Center (ISC) offers information and services for international students and visiting scientists of RWTH Aachen University upon their arrival in Aachen. RWTH Aachen University sees the integration of international visiting scientists and students as an important task and in order to reach this goal, we offer the following assistance:
We can assist visiting scientists with:
* Accommodation information and other related formalities with relocating to Aachen
* Registration of address with local authorities
* Opening a bank account
* Insurance (health and other) formalities
* Locating preschools and schools and assistance with registering children
* Locating pertinent city university offices and shopping districts
* Finding free time and family oriented activities
Please note that in order to best assist you, we ask that you make an appointment with us beforehand, letting us know in which areas you need assistance.
We can assist international students with:
* Accommodation information
* Assisting students during admission
* Registrating your address with local authorities
* Opening a bank account
* Insurance
* Locating pertinent University and city offices
* Tips for finding a job in Aachen
These services are offered for the students during the orientation phase at the beginning of each semester.

The ISC offers a social program called Leisure and Pleasure. For further information, please pick up a brochure at our office or find information in the International Office calendar of events.

We also work closely with other student organisations, particularly INCAS and Auslanderinnen Bertretrung (AV) to provide co-ordinated support for visiting scientists and students.
