Saint-Gobain Vetrotex Textiles is part of the Textile Solutions activity in the High Performance Materials sector of the Saint-Gobain group and specialized in glass filament solutions for technical textiles (Yarns, Zerotwist, Texturized and Voluminized products, Chopped strands, Beamed Yarns) In 1995, Saint-Gobain Vetrotex created a specialized organization for its textile products. At the same time a worldwide marketing and sales organization was set up.

Within a short period of time, the Business Unit for textiles has developed into the position of the recognized worldwide market leader with its extended product range servicing building and industrial applications.

In recent years, sales, marketing and production have become global. Today Saint-Gobain Vetrotex Textiles has production facilities in Europe (Czech Republic, Germany) as well as in North America (Mexico) and has sales offices in Australia, Czech Republic, Germany, India, Japan, Korea and the United States of America (North Carolina) to service their customers wherever they are.
