SCHNEIDER INTERCOM realises complex, integrative security and communication solutions. These include integrated speech, emergency call, monitoring and control systems as well as evacuation solutions for industrial plants, administrative buildings, trade fair sites, hospitals, airports, prisons, multi-storey car parks and office units amongst others.

All systems can be customised to the requirements of their users without any problem and are fitted out for the future. Indeed, they not only have technology of the latest generation, but can easily be extended.

INTERCOM OVER IP (IoIP®)

Apart from the use of LAN and WAN networks for the intercom system, the company also implements the direct connection of intercom terminals via IP. Analogue 4-wire, digital 2-wire, IP- and SIP-technology can be combined flexibly in one system.

IoIP® enables the networking of Schneider Intercom Servers via an IP-based network. The local Intercom system to act as one large system across different sites. All specified functions are available across the entire Intercom network and programming is conducted centrally from a single location.

By contrast with Voice over IP, the audio transmission IoIP® occurs with a bandwidth of 16 kHz. Voices are therefore clearly defined against background noises. Crystal clear voice quality gives a greater clarity of speech in hands free applications.
